12 Angry Jurors at Hanover 

This American courtroom drama is filled with intensity and a natural attraction for Legal and Educational advocates. 

The defense and the prosecution have rested and the jury is filing into the jury room to decide if a young Hispanic man is guilty or innocent of murdering his father. What begins as an open-and-shut case soon becomes a story that presents a succession of clues creating doubt, and a mini-drama of each of the jurors' prejudices and preconceptions about the trial, immigration, the criminal justice system, the accused, and each other.

Stackable Rings at Worcester Center for Crafts 

Spend your Saturday learning the basics of sizing, measuring, cutting, soldering and forming sterling silver to create your own set of stackable rings.

Students will learn to file, roll print and hammer textures into their rings, as well as set a stone. Students should expect to leave this workshop with at least 3 finished rings that can be worn together on one finger.

A $40 materials fee paid at registration includes everything you'll need for the class. Beginners welcome! Bring your lunch!

Winter Bird Watching Along the South Shore 

Head east to the beaches and grasslands of southeastern Massachusetts and visit hot spots based on recent sightings.

The tour starts and ends at Daniel Webster Wildlife Sanctuary, where birdwatchers can expect to see a variety of songbirds, waterfowl, and raptors including short-eared owls and northern harriers. This van trip begins and ends at Broad Meadow Brook.

Worcester Collaborative Collegiate Jazz Festival at Assumption 

The Worcester Collaborative Collegiate Jazz Festival features bands from colleges as well as several HS jazz bands from around the greater Worcester area including the Assumption College Jazz ensemble.

The festival begins at 2 p.m. and goes to 5 p.m. at the Hagan Campus Center.

Maple Days at Old Sturbridge Village 

Old Sturbridge Village will show off the history of New England's maple industry during its Maple Days celebrations.

The Village's costumed historians will show off the maple sugaring process of the early 19th century at a working sugar camp, and also show how maple surging has changed over the years through a scavenger hunt.
