Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake performed by the Russian National Ballet presented by Music Worcester at Hanover Theatre
Music Worcester’s annual presentation of fully-staged, classical ballet returns to one of the best-known tales, Swan Lake.
The Russian National Ballet has been bringing timeless ballet classics to the stages of North America since 1999. Founded in Moscow during the transitional period of Perestroika in the late 1980s, the company used their new-found creative freedom, influenced by the political movement, to invigorate the tradition of Russian ballet with new developments in dance from around the world.

The Women Who Mapped the Stars 3 28 19 and 3 29 19 at Worcester Historical Museum
In conjunction with Women’s History month and #worcesteronthemoon, this is the Central assachusetts premiere of “The Women Who Mapped the Stars,” by Joyce Van Dyke.
It is the riveting and fascinating chronicle of five women who were responsible for creating the celestial road map astronomers use today.

America 50th Anniversary Tour at The Hanover Theatre
Grammy® Award-winning band, America marks its 50th Anniversary with a new national tour.
Founding members, Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnell, along with former band mate Dan Peek, met in high school in London in the late 1960s and quickly harmonized their way to the top of the charts on the strength of their signature song "A Horse With No Name."
America became a global household name and paved the way with an impressive string of hits following the success of their first number one single.

Curators Talk with Lisa Crossman, Fitchburg Art Museum at Museum of Russian Icons
Join Fitchburg Art Museum Curator Lisa Crossman for an engaging look at the art of Konstantin Simun in his latest exhibition The Sacred in the Profane. In his work, Simun poses the question “trash or treasure?” when speaking about his sculptures.
Explore why Simun asks the viewer to see spiritual images in everyday plastic objects and the connections between iconography and consumer products.
