Peppa Pig Live at Hanover Theatre 

Audiences will enjoy fun interactive games and, of course, many surprises! The live show encompasses the charming, colorful nature of the incredibly popular television series and features brand-new songs and life-size puppets that walk, talk, dance, and jump up and down to give audiences a unique, fully immersive theatrical experience from the moment the curtain opens.

Mass Audubon's Bird-a-thon 2018

From May 11 at 6 pm to May 12 at 6 pm. People across Massachusetts will compete to identify the most bird species.

Team members will raise money in honor of the event for Mass Audubon wildlife sanctuaries and programs as they spread the word about nature conservation and education.

Vocal Jazz Night with Simona Minns at Sprinkler Factory 

Sprinkler Artist Factory is inviting all jazz and live music lovers for a special concert. Simona Minns, Lithuanian born jazz vocalist and composer is presenting a selection of jazz arrangements and original compositions combined with Lithuanian zither – kanklės. Her style is known for its unique theatrical flavor, genre-bending and virtuosic vocal scat improvisation. Simona’s latest work, “A Hunger Artist," blends her haunting vocals with elements of Lithuanian folk, vaudeville and even rock.

Zumba classes are for ages 12 and older. Wearing work-out clothes and sneakers is recommended. And remember to bring water.

Rushnyky: Sacred Ukrainian Textiles at Museum of Russian Icons

A rushnyk is a long, rectangular cloth, typically made from linen or hemp, which is woven in one solid piece and sometimes adorned with bright, intricate patterns. They are traditionally made by women, who start learning to spin, weave, and embroider the cloths at a very young age. Today most rushnyky are machine made using modern materials, and can be purchased in retail establishments.

The exhibit goes from 11 a.m.to 4 p.m.
