Fourth Saturday Open Mic featuring Ron Whittle

The Fourth Saturday Open Mic will next meet on Saturday, September 22, 2018, to Barnes & Noble on Lincoln Street in Worcester. Open mic at 7 pm, featured poets to follow. This month Ron Whittle will be the feature.

After the featured poets read the gathered poetry lovers adjourn to the in-store coffee shop and chat about whatever comes up until management pushes us out the door at closing -- at about 10 pm.

The Crusaders enter the game with a record of 1-2 overall, while Dartmouth enters with a record of 1-0.

Join the winners of the WCPA's 2018 Annual Poetry Contest: The Frank O'Hara Prize for a reading of their work and the work of contest judge, Regie Gibson. There will be an opportunity to mingle over refreshments as well.

This year's winners include: First Prize - Jeff Walt, Second Prize - Nicole DiCello, Third Prize - Malt Schlitzman, and Honorable Mention - Michael Morlock. Contest Chairperson, Bob Gill, will moderate the ceremony.
