A busy early September weekend in Worcester full of live music, festivals and other events for all ages. 

This weekend’s events include the 19th annual Pet Rock Festival, Lake Quinsig Day, Klem’s Fall Fest and much more.

Worcester Art Teacher to Exhibit in Worcester JCC Gallery

Worcester Public School art teacher Francis Warner will have her art exhibit titled "A Visual Narrative," on display. 

The show will feature a compilation of works that span over 40 years, including watercolors, oils, acrylics, pen and ink, egg tempera, and encaustic.

19th Annual Pet Rock Festival at Wyman Gordon 

Pet Rock Fest features live music, with the lineup featuring August First, My Silent Bravery, The Flock and James Keyes.

There are also performances and games for kids, author signings, Pups in the Air Frisbee Dog Team, doggie massages, photos of your pets, animal mascots, vegetarian food court, games for kids, contests for dogs, a cat photo contest, doggie massages, a doggie water park, demonstrations, exhibits, vendors and, most importantly, hundreds of nonprofit groups devoted to animal welfare causes. Carnivorous Plant Show at Tower Hill Botanic Garden 

More than 300 Carnivorous plants will be on display where visitors can see first-hand these unusual plants, and will have a chance to purchase their own from top vendors from the area.

Some are native to New England, and others are from as far away as Africa, South America or Australia.
