Still need a gift for someone on your list?
Here is our lineup of 10 places in Central MA where you can learn to make gifts by hand or surprise a friend with a new creative experience!
Choose from courses and workshops on jewelry making, pottery, and even cocktail mixology classes at a local business in your area.
“At the Worcester Center for Crafts we have a lot of different opportunities to buy or learn how to make handcrafted items," says Honee Hess, Executive Director at The Worcester Center for Crafts.
"We have one day workshops that go from making beer steins and stemless wine glasses, to learning to use a potters well and jewelry classes," says Hess. "In our gallery we also have a cup show opening on December 4 with an unbelievable array of what happens to a cup when creativity is applied to its making - there's a cup for everyone, and it's a great place to come for gift giving ideas.”
Enjoy the season of giving by purchasing a course for the art lover or creative in your family and don’t be afraid to partake yourself - most of these courses still have openings to accommodate a group outing!
