24 Hour Fundraiser Will Benefit Animals in Need

Pet Chance of Northborough, MA will be kicking off their first major fundraiser to help pets and pet owners gain much needed funds for medical and veterinary expenses.

Pedal for Paws will be a 24 hour spinathon fundraiser that will take place inside Solomon Pond Mall inside the entrance to JC Penney and will run from 10 a.m. January 31 to 10 a.m. February 1.

The non-profit organization welcomes pet owners, animal lovers, and anyone who wants to get some exercise to participate.

Create a team of 24 (including a Team Captain) and sign up to ride for an hour with your friends or co-workers to support this small charity.

There will be a $500 incentive for any Team Captain who can recruit 23 riders the fastest.

Lizzy is a 1 year-old medium hair kitty - her coat is close to her body so she looks like a short hair cat, but her fur is thick and very, very soft. Lizzy was being tormented by the other cats in her home - she ran outside to escape them, but then they blocked the front door and wouldn't let her back inside to eat.

Baby

Baby is very friendly! As soon as you sit down she is on your lap. She is also very vocal and likes to let you know she's there! Baby is FIV positive, which is not a problem as Baby does not need any medications. FIV cats can live a full life by living only indoors.

Mystic

My name is Mystic. I am a gorgeous, 1 year old, neutered male. My coat is charcoal gray and so soft and silky. I was hit by a car in July and have a fractured pelvis but the vet says it is healing well on its own. I have a slight limp but other than that, I do just fine.

Ghost

Ghost is a little guy at 8 lbs and 9 months old, but don't let the short legs fool you. He's very active and loves to play, go for walks, or go for hikes in the woods.

Ghost loves other dogs and cats, especially young cats that will play with him, and he's very affectionate with people he knows.

Cooper is a happy, friendly, 50 pound, 1½ year old pit bull who's a waggy, licky bundle of goofy affection-- he's never met a person he didn't like!

Cooper's a very smart boy and a fast learner. His ideal family will take him to classes, which he'll love and be a star at.
