12th Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Bemis Farms Nursery - Spencer
Spring flowers and baby farm animals await at the 12th Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Bemis Farms Nursery that will be held Saturday April 7th, 2012. The Easter Bunny will also be present at their park-like setting at 29 North Brookfield Road in Spencer. The family-owned business is home to all kinds of flowers and shrubs to add to the atmosphere. Different egg hunts for different age groups will be held at 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. They advise groups to come at least 15 minutes early for the best chance. The event will be held rain or shine. Worcester County 4-H will have bunnies and baby goats on display.
Park and Recreation's Annual Easter Egg Hunt – Hopkinton
Hopkinton’s Park and Rec. Department will be holding their annual Easter egg hunt for pre-school to 2nd grade children on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. on the Town Common. The event is sponsored by the Hopkinton Drug Store. Parents are asked to supply a bag or basket… and to not pick up the eggs prior to the start of the event. No cheating. The Easter Bunny has left candy and “Special Prize Eggs” and will be appearing on the common, weather permitting. Come take photos and enjoy the season! For more information please call Parks and Recreation at 497-9750 between 10 AM and 1 PM on Friday. If there is inclement weather, children can greet the Bunny and receive a treat at Hopkinton Drug Store.
Annual Easter Egg Hunt - Grafton
The Friends of the Grafton Public Library will be holding its annual Easter egg hunt Saturday, April 7th, 2012, on The Common. Tickets are $3 per child and may be purchased at the Grafton Public Library for either the 10:00 a.m. or 10:30 a.m. hunt. No tickets will be sold at the event, so purchase beforehand. The Easter Bunny will be making an appearance for photos no matter the weather. Come hunt for Easter treats and get a photo with the Bunny himself! The library will also be holding readings of Easter-time stories. Children are invited to come listen and enter their tickets in a raffle.
Lancaster 4-H Easter Egg Hunt
The Lancaster 4-H will be holding their Easter egg hunt on April 8th at 9:00 a.m. on the Lancaster Town Green. The rain date will be April 15th. Different areas will be assigned for different ages, to give all children a fair chance. Parents are asked to not help. One area will be for ages up to 4, one for ages 5 to 7, and one for children ages 8 to 12. There is no pre-registration or fee.
The Easter Bunny comes to the Herbert Candy Mansion - Shrewsbury
If your family hasn’t gotten enough sugary Easter treats from hunting eggs all morning, you can hop down to the Candy Mansion at Hebert Confectioners at 575 Hartford Turnpike, Shrewsbury. The Easter Bunny will be on site for photos and a treat from noon to 5:00 p.m. on April 6th and 7th.
