Friday, October 23 

Katie O'Brian Duo 

The Katie O'Brian Duo will perform at The Milll 185 on 185 West Boylston St. on Friday from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. 

Kick off your weekend by relaxing, dancing and listening to some great music. 

Saturday, October 24

Saturday Night Live Jazz 

Saturday night, the last night that you can go out and relax with nothing to worry about, or at least very little. 

Go to Pho Dakao from 8:30 p.m. - 12 a.m. and enjoy the jazz.

Roger Salloom at NU Cafe

Roger Salloom and his band will make their annual appearance at NU Cafe Concert Series  at  8 p.m. The concert runs till 12 a.m.

Sunday Dead Night

If you are a fan of the Grateful Dead, you need to check out Sunday Dead Night at Electric Haze on Millbury St. 

The show begins at 9 p.m. and goes to 1 p.m. featuring a different Tribute Band every Sunday. 

Jim's Sunday Blues Jam 

Every Sunday night, Jim Perry hosts the best blues jam there is and brings in special guests performers. Who will he have this week

There is NO COVER and the show goes from 6 p.m. - 10 p.m. at Greendale's Pub on W. Boylston St.

The Big E

Known as the cream of the crop of New England fall festivals, The Big E is the largest agricultural event on the east coast and the sixth-largest fair in the nation.

The event consists of dragon boat races for professional and amateur teams as well as the opportunity to learn about Chinese culture.

Watch fiberglass dragon boats race for the top prize. These boats were a gift from the Republic of China (Taiwan).

Experience the Lion Dance and compete with the family in a Chinese dumpling eating contest.
