With Winter finally fading behind us and warm Spring weather on the horizon, now is the perfect time get out of the house for some family fun. But the frost hasn't all quite thawed, and there's still some wintery fun to be had.

Whether you want to ignite your kid's imagination with some interactive science and engineering classes, enjoy the zany antics of the Scooby Doo gang in person, or relive history at a renaissance fair, there's plenty of things to do in the local area perfect for the whole family.

And if the cold hasn't gotten to you yet, you can still put in some time on the ski slopes, or enjoy a local hockey game with the kids.
