ArtsWorcester Announces Prize Winners for 2016 College Show

ArtsWorcester announced the juror's prizes awarded for the 12th Annual College Show, juried by Kristina Durocher, Director of the University of New Hampshire Museum of Art. 

The Prize winners are: 

  • Joan Avato, Worcester State University, Trout Rising, linoleum block print
  • George Burrelle-Wentworth, Assumption College, DOPE, paper, found objects
  • Olivia Christy, Worcester State University, Sibling Rivalry, paper collage
  • Jessica Cusworth, Clark University, Bathtub, Abandoned Farm, digital inkjet print
  • Emelie Graebner, Clark University, The Beauty of Sadness, silver gelatin print
  • Nina Ho, College of the Holy Cross, My Instalife, matte paper (pictured above)
  • Caitlin Indermaur, Clark University, Wally, photograph on pearl paper
  • Margaret MacMullin, College of the Holy Cross, Paper Plane, oil bar, paper, and collage
  • Purva Rumde, College of the Holy Cross, Tangles, pastel and charcoal on paper

The College Show 

The College Show is an annual event showcasing the best student work in Worcester-area colleges and universities. Gallery hours run at 660 Main Street on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. through February 26.
