Barbara Brosnihan’s “Reflections of Nature” Exhibit to be Displayed at Briarwod

Barbara Brosnihan's "Reflections of Nature" exhibit will be on display at The Gallery at Briarwood  starting on Sunday, September 11 and running through Friday, November 4. The gallery is open Mondays through Fridays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

The exhibit will showcase acrylic and oil painting featuring both landscape and still life. 

“My paintings are from imagination and observation. My aim is to capture the beauty and mystical quality of the natural environment," says Brosnihan.

Brosinihan taught art for 31 years in Worcester Public Schools, mainly at South High Community School. She taught private pairing lessons in her studio and specialzed in children's portraits before her teaching career. 

She has exhibited with the Deerfield Valley Art Association, Eastern State Exhibiton, The Holden Art Association, and the Capen Hill Nature Sanctuary, the Arts Center in Southborough, and the Westboro Art Gallery. 

She received a B.F.A. in Painting and Illustration at the Massachusetts College of Art.
