Briarwood Community November & December Event Schedule Announced

The Briarwood Community will host free and open to the public events starting on November 3rd and going until December 22nd at the Birches Auditorium. 

November Events 

The events at the Briarwood Community kick off on Tuesday, November 3rd at 2 p.m. with music by Gary Landgren and his Honky Tonk piano. 

Following him will be The Genesis Club Art Exhibit on November 8th from 2 - 4 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.

Other November events will include a silent movie piano on November 17th and a presentation on the artist Van Gogh on November 24. 

The final November event will take place on November 30th 2 p.m.  and will feature Worcester Art Museum director James Welu talking about maps and the art of cartography as well as Dutch cartography master Jan Vermeer. 

December Events 

December events kick off on Saturday, December 5th at 2 p.m. with A Goodlie Companye performing madrigal music. 

On December 14, Shrewsbury High School students will present their Annual Holiday Program and on the 15th, Marylou Hannon will present Art Matters, an art awareness program. 

The final December event will take place on Tuesday, December 22nd at 7 p.m. with Post Road Chorus.
