Celebration, Concert and Fireworks

July 3, 2014

The City of Worcester's Independence Day celebration will take place on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at East Park on Shrewsbury Street in Worcester. There will be food vendors and kids’ activities followed by a ceremonial flag raising at 7:45PM. There will also be a performance by the Massachusetts Symphony Orchestra at 8:00PM and fireworks at 9:30PM 

Rain date is July 5th.

Independence Daytime Celebration & Evening Fireworks

Old Sturbridge Village celebrates the birth of our nation on July 4 with a full day of festivities, including a patriotic citizens' procession, a reading of the Declaration of Independence (guests can even sign their "John Hancocks" on a giant reproduction of the document), 1830s-style base-ball, as well as OSVs other regular activities. After daytime celebrations conclude, the Village reopens for evening festivities, with music, magic, juggling and family-friendly games. Food and beverages, including beer and wine, are available for purchase. The evening concludes with a spectacular fireworks display over the OSV Countryside.

Fireworks at Fruitlands Museum

July 2, 2014

Enjoy an Independence Day celebration with bands, food and fireworks at dusk. Raindate, July 6. Local Bands begin to play at 5PM. Bring a picnic or purchase food there. Parking fee is $20/car or $10 if you are wearing a 2014 Harvard Fireworks t-shirt.  Walk-ins are $5. Children under 12 are free.

Milford

Fireworks

Milford's fireworks display is scheduled for Thursday, July 3rd with a rain date of Saturday, July 5th.

Due to renovations and temporary closure of Plains Park, Fino Field Annex is the recommended site for viewing the fireworks.

The Milford Lions Club will once again be serving food from its Lions Club Trailer.

The Lions Club is also sponsoring entertainment and music featuring Ron Auger.

Fitchburg

Parade

The Annual 4th of July Parade will still be on July 4th from10am to 12pm.  The Parade runs from the intersection of Summer St and Bemis St to the Upper Common on Main St.

Fireworks

The Annual Fireworks Display has been postponed to Saturday, July 5th at 10pm due to expected inclimate weather. Fireworks are launched off of Rollstone Hill and can be seen for miles, but are best viewed from Downtown Fitchburg.

Block Party

The Annual Civic Days Downtown Block Party has been rescheduled to July 5th from 5 to 10pm on Main Street due to expected inclimate weather. Join us for a night of good food, fun music, and lots of activities!

Fireworks, Parade, Concert, and Strawberry Festival

Rutland will have their yearly fireworks display on Thursday at 9:20 PM. A concert and strawberry festival will precede the show.

On Friday, they will have their parade. The theme this year is Christmas in July. The parade begins at Central Tree Middle School and ends at Rutland Heights.

Family Fun Day and Fireworks at the Spencer Fairgrounds

July 5, 2014

Spencer will have its annual fireworks display at Spencer Fairgrounds. Family Fun Day includes live music, food and carnival rides.

Hypnotist Jim Spinnato will perform at 8 PM and fireworks will follow the show at 9:30 PM.
