Wormtown Brewery
As the first and only brewery to use Massachusetts grown ingredients in every single one of their beers, Wormtown Brewery offers one of the best selections of locally-brewed beers. Many of which are offered year-round, such as Seven Hills Pale Ale and Worcester’s Bravest Ale, but they also offer seasonal beverages like Wormtown Pumpkin Ale great for students returning in the Fall) and “Wintah” Ale for those long cold winter months.

The Loft 266
With a sports lounge on the top floor and a cocktail lounge on the ground floor, you get the best of both worlds at The Loft 266 Bar & Lounge. The bar is open seven nights a week with a selection of 20 beers on draft and 35 bottled. Live music and DJs are also featured most Thursday through Sunday nights. Don’t want to dance? Watch the game on their fifty-inch plasma screen. Don’t forget to keep up with the Loft's numerous events and promotions via their Facebook page.

Maxwell Silverman’s
Located in a vintage, 100 year old toolhouse factory, Maxwell Silverman’s is a restaurant, a dance club, and a bar all in one. Most college students take advantage of their bar area which is stocked with domestic beers. There is an open bar for domestic beer and wine that starts at only $14 for one hour and $29 for four hours. There is only a slight increase in price for imported beers. Maxwell Silverman’s is also a great place to dance every Friday and Saturday starting at 8:30pm.

Salty Dog Saloon
Want to try something different this weekend? Go to the Salty Dog Saloon, it has a full bar, live music…and a mechanical bull. The atmosphere at the Salty Dog Saloon is always entertaining and lively due to their fun bartenders and their love of themed parties. Thursday nights are 18+ for girls and there is never any cover charge.

Jose Murphy’s
At Jose Murphy’s you get a bar, a club, and great deals. The upstairs becomes a nightclub on Fridays and Saturdays, and there is never any cover charge. Downstairs, the restaurant and bar are open all week, offering specials including $8 pitchers of beer and .10 cent tacos. Looking for entertainment? Plasma screen TVs are available to watch any number of sporting events and they also have DJs who provide live music.

Ralph’s Rock Diner is not your ordinary diner; you can enjoy a variety of live music while you drink your beer and eat some food. Literally a “rock” diner, many nationally known bands have performed here. Split between a diner, a bar, and a club, you won’t find a more interesting combination. Brew City Grill
A one of a kind establishment, Brew City Grill and Brew House features an award winning selection of beer that includes over 155 different types, 40 of which are on tap. The atmosphere is casual but upscale. They offer a great selection of meals made from scratch and burgers that have been recognized by many New England media outlets.
