Condit: Dave Chappelle Live In Concert

Dave Chappelle

The Hanover Theatre just announced that comedy king Dave Chappelle is bringing his stand-up tour to its stage Friday, September 25, with tickets going on sale Monday, August 17 at 10am.  Be warned, this comedian’s routine contains mature content and it is not appropriate for all ages.

Chappelle’s fans are eager for his return to the stage and tickets are expected to sell very quickly. The American comedian, screenwriter, producer and actor has been praised by many of his peers for his work, and has even been considered to be the greatest comedian alive by Katt Williams and the best ever by Kevin Hart. Esquire called him “the comic genius of America,” and Comedy Central places him in the Top 50 Greatest Stand-Ups of All Time.

Many remember his movie roles in Half Baked, but if you haven’t seen that film, he was also Ahchoo in Mel Brooks’ Robin Hood: Men in Tights, Reggie Warrington in The Nutty Professor, and played himself in Dave Chappelle’s Block Party.  This is in addition to 11 additional movies and numerous TV appearances from 1994-2013, including multiple appearances on Inside the Actors Studio along with comedy specials on HBO, Comedy Central, MTV, VH1, and an interview with Oprah Winfrey.

If you want to laugh the night away, then book your tickets for his September 25 show here in Worcester. Tickets will be available starting Monday at 10am online, by calling 877.571.SHOW (7469) or stop by the box office at 2 Southbridge Street.
