Don’t Miss: Cummings Veterinary School Open House For Families

Saturday, September 14, 2013

Vets in the making can have all kinds of fun at the Cummings Veterinary School's annual Open House for families.

There's fun of the furry kind to be had in Grafton next weekend, when the students, faculty and staff of the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University invite Central Massachusetts families its annual Open House

The event will be held on Sunday, September 22, 2013 from 11am to 3pm.

Animal lovers, come on down!

What child does not dream of growing up to be a veterinarian? For those dreamers (and kids of every age), the festivities include hay rides, agility dog demonstrations, exhibits at the Tufts Wildlife Clinic, and tours through the school's working farm.

The organizers at Cummings ask that all visitors leave dogs and other pets at home in a safe and comfortable environment. "We want to maintain appropriate biosecurity and infection control for our patients, livestock, and your pets," organizers say. And of course: Remember that no animal may remain in an unattended vehicle at any time.

Directions to the Cummings School campus can be found on the Visitor Information page.
