Don’t Miss: Pat Benatar at Indian Ranch this Summer

Friday, April 12, 2013

Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo to perform on August 24.

Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo are the latest musicians to be scheduled to perform as part of the annual Indian Ranch Summer Concert Series. They will take the stage in Webster, MA on Saturday, August 24 at 2PM. Tickets go on sale this Saturday at 10 am through Ticketmaster or by calling 1-800-745-3000.

Legends of Rock

Pat Benatar’s songs “Love is a Battlefield”, “Hit Me with Your Best Shot”, “Heartbreaker”, “Promises In The Dark” and “We Belong” are as unforgettable now as they were at the dawn of MTV, when Pat emerged, fearless, fighting and forging a path for other female rock stars around the world. Pat Benatar has always been a rule-breaker and a trail-blazer, she remains a bold and distinctive artist both on stage and on record, and now, after more than three decades in rock ‘n’ roll, she’s a bonafide living legend.

Benatar’s life was to change dramatically in 1979, when she was introduced to a fiery and inspiring guitarist and multi-instrumentalist, named Neil Giraldo, who shared the singer’s passions and used his skills as an innovative arranger and producer to help design, from its inception, the now renowned Benatar-sound. Neil "Spyder“ James Giraldo, has been a professional musician, producer, arranger and songwriter for over four decades now, changing the face of the pop charts throughout the 1980s with his collaborator, muse and wife, Pat Benatar.

An Ideal Place to Attend a Concert

Indian Ranch offers music lovers a chance to see some of the greatest country, roots rock, classic rock and pop bands steps from Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg. Nestled between pine trees, the 3,000 seat amphitheater offers the ability to see the stage from anywhere in the audience.

"It has atmosphere that many venues in the area are lacking. Our venue sits on the shores of lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg. Concert goers can arrive early and relax on the beach, take a paddle boat out or go for a swim. There is an area to picnic if you want to bring your own lunch and make a day of it. It's a family venue and a great place to take your kids to their first show. Most of our shows are in the afternoon making it the perfect way to enjoy being outside on a nice summer day," said Suzette Raun, President of Indian Ranch.

This year’s Indian Ranch schedule already includes a star studded calendar of concerts with shows from Scotty McCreery, Charlie Daniels Band, 38 Special, Jo Dee Messina, Dwight Yoakam, Phil Vassar, and Montgomery Gentry. Several more shows are expected to be announced soon.

"We have had many national country stars grace our stage such as Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Loretta Lynn, Charlie Daniels, along with today's superstars such as Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, and Blake Shelton. We are always on the lookout to introduce new talent as well as bring back many of your favorites," Raun Said.

All events are rain or shine. Indian Ranch, less than an hour's drive from Boston, Providence and Springfield, is located at 200 Gore Road in Webster, MA. For more information, visit www.indianranch.com
