“Fetching” Fashion Show This Weekend

Fashionistas and their four-legged friends are set to strut the runway Friday to benefit the Providence Animal Rescue League. The inaugural Furry & Fabulous Summer Fashion Show, from 7pm to 11pm at chic outdoor lounge Aqua at the Providence Marriott, promises to delight animal lovers and their prized pooches for a night of fun and fashion with chic looks for both ladies and man’s best friend.

Sonya's Boutique of Cranston will preview their fall collection from top international designers, high heel shoe designer Zack Lo will be on hand with his 2010 collection, Melunair Jewelry Design Studio will have a bling-tastic array of baubles, and Westside Eyewear will showcase the latest shade styles from names like Gucci and Dolce & Gabbana. Attendees will enjoy shopping the designers featured in the show, door prizes and a cash bar, and can upgrade their experience by reserving a VIP table (cabanas and fire pit seating has already sold out). Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door and can be purchased at Park Avenue Puppy’s (464-8800) or online at FurryFriendsRI.com.
