Friday, July 05, 2013

Independence Day falls on a Thursday this year and that means a long weekend for many of us. We will have plenty of extra time on our hands so it's a perfect weekend to get out, relax and have some fun.

But you shouldn't totally forget the important meaning of the holiday you're taking advantage of to unwind. There are plenty of ways to celebrate America, that nation that gave us life, liberty and happiness, with your time off without giving up one ounce the enjoyment.

Here are a few all-American ways you can spend some quality time this weekend.

Note: A number of towns will also be having their Fourth of July celebrations this weekend. Check out who here.
