One of the surest signs of summer is the opening of farmers' markets in communities throughout Central Massachusetts, and we've got all the best spots for your fresh fruits and vegetables, not to mention meats, dairy products, honey, syrups and so much more.
Satisfy your desires for fresh produce and do a good deed by helping out a local farmer in the process. Here are some of the best local farmers' markets currently in operation across Central Mass.
Note: Farmers' Markets in Oxford, Leominster, Harvard and Boylston will also be opening later in the summer.

Worcester Common, Behind City Hall, Thursdays 11am-2pm
Worcester Main South, Fuller Family Park, Saturdays 10am-2pm
Worcester, REC Community Chandler Street Market, Beaver Brook Park, Mondays 9:30am-2pm
Worcester has multiple farmers' markets to fit its size. All told the markets contain the produce of countless farms and orchards including Many Hands Organic Farm, Heirloom Harvest, YouthGrow Farm, Nicewicz Family Farm, Harper's Farm and Garden and much more.
Holden Farmers' Market, Damon House, 1187 Main Street, Tuesdays 3pm-6:30pm
Holden’s line-up of local farms and orchards will make for a perfect stop to do your grocery shopping. Their market features B&B Farms, Billy Goat Beanery, Black Hen Farm, Five Loaves Bakery, Hancock Farm, Log Cabin Orchards and others.
Westborough Farmers' Market, Evangelical Congregational Church, 57 West Main Street, Thursdays 1pm-6pm
The Farmers' Market in Westborough features good s from Emery Family Farm, Heirloom Harvest, Rocky Ridge Beef Farm, Zoll Cellars, Five Loaves Bakery, and The Warren Farm and Sugarhouse, including meats, veggies, fruits, honey, and much more.
Grafton Farmers' Market, Grafton Common, Thursdays 2pm- 6:30pm
Grafton's Farmers' Market features the produce of a multitude of local farms including Brasen Hill Farm, Nourse Farm, Potter Hill Farm, Houlden Farms and many more, and includes a very wide selection of vegetables, plus meat, fruit and more.
West Brookfield Farmers' Market, Town Common, Wednesdays 3pm-6pm
The Farmers' Market in West Brookfield contains produce from farms including Chabot Farm, Flourish Farm, Hancock Farm, Little Rest Farm and many more, and includes goods such as honey, milk, cheeses, ice cream, berries, beef and more.
Barre Farmers' Market, Town Common, Saturdays 9 am-12:30pm
Barre Farmers' Market has a king's ransom of local goodies from Windy Hamlet Farm, Holloway Farm, Burnshirt Family Farm, Hancock Farm and many more. Come to check out the large assortment of veggies, flowers, herbs and more.

Sterling Farmers' Market, Butterick Municipal Building, 1 Park Street, Fridays 3pm-6pm
Buy some produce from Billy Goat Beanery, Crystal Brook Farm and Pineo Family Farm among other great local establishments at the Sterling Farmers' Market. This includes apples, blueberries and numerous veggies and other products.

Fitchburg has three separate farmers' markets featuring the usual goods from Country Dreams Farm, Ayotte's Farm, and more.

Spencer Farmers' Market, Klem's, 117 West Main Street, Saturdays 10am-2pm
Spencer Farmers' Market contains the fresh produce of local farms including Linabella's Gourmet Garlic Farm, Evans Farm, Grass Roots Farm and more. This includes various fruits including apples, blackberries, blueberries and raspberries, plus numerous veggies, meat and dairy products.
Ashburnham Farmers' Market, Winchester Park, 32 Main Street, Mondays 4pm-6:30pm
Take a trip to Ashburnham Farmers' Market and you'll find produce from farms such as Barrett Hill Farm and Breezy Hill Farm. This could include indian corn, beets, carrots, raspberries and much more.
Hardwick Farmers' Market, Town Common, Sundays 11am-2pm
The Hardwick Sugar Shack and Robinson Farm are among the establishments that are featured at Hardwick Farmers' Market, and it includes goods such as organic cheeses and other dairy products, and the usual fruits, vegetables and even hand-made crafts.
