Whether you want a quick, relaxing drink, a small snack or even a full meal after work or on the weekend, restaurant and bar happy hours a God send. Special deals allow you to save money while getting a small taste of all a particular establishment has to offer. There are plenty of options in the Worcester area if you want to take advantage. Here are just a few for those who love good deals and good food.

The Sole Proprietor

Try some of Worcester's best seafood for cheap after work. There is truly something for everyone. Everything on the bar menu is just $6 from 4-6:30 pm. Get your hands on special menu items including Jumbo Shrimp Cocktails, Oysters, Clam Chowder, numerous types of scrumptious Sushi including the famous House Sole Roll, California Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll and Vegetarian Roll. From the kettle, you can try some Scampi, Crab Sliders, Sautéed Mussels, Linguine and White Clam Sauce, and much more. And don't forget the $6 Russian Standard Vodka drinks.

In addition to $6 Russian Standard Vodka drinks, Via also has a special bar menu for food items from 4-6:30 pm. Everything is just $6 on the special menu. Choose any one from a list of wonderful Italian baguettes with sausage, meatballs, chicken parmesan, provolone, mozzarella or marinara. In addition, try anyone of a number of spaghetti dishes, Barbecue Pork Wings, Jumpo Shrimp Cocktails, Fried Calamari, or the famous VIA Burger. Grilled Caesar and Burrata Caprese Salad are also options.

111 Chop House also has $6 Russian Standard Vodka drinks and a special $6 menu from 4 -6:30 pm on week days. Try various positively mouth-watering options like the Honey Chipotle BBQ Beef Quesadilla, Bang Bang Shrimp, the Steak House BLT, Teriyaki Beef Skewers, and Shrimp Tacos. Grilled Pizza is also on the menu. Get your hands on a Grilled Chicken Pizza with roasted red pepper and mozzarella, or the Margherita Style Pizza, with tomato, fresh mozzarella, basil, and olive oil.

Smokestack Urban Barbeque has a very, very special happy hour. On Thursday nights at 8 pm, a bacon happy hour begins where you can get your hands on unlimited free bacon. What could be better? In addition, wings are half off on Monday. Also check out other unique menu options including the Deep-fried Oreos or Fried Pickles.

The People's Kitchen

The People's Kitchen has a $5 Happy Hour bar menu 4:30 - 7 pm on weekdays and 4:30-9 pm on Sundays. Items available on the special menu include very unique selections such as Deep-fried Mac and Cheese Fingers, House-fried Potato Chips, Shoestring French Fries, Baked Soft Pretzel Sticks, Pretzel Chicken Bites, Fried White Mushrooms and more.
