GETTING OUT: The Best Halloween Parties in Central Mass

Thursday, October 25, 2012

The crowd at Jillian's for Halloween last year.

When you're a kid Halloween is about candy, trick or treating, and costumes. When you're an adult (or at least an older kid), Halloween is about parties and, well, still costumes, but perhaps a different sort. Unfortunately, Halloween is right, smack in the middle of the week this year, but there are plenty of opportunities being offered by clubs, bars and restaurants in the Central Mass area to have great costume, music and game-filled fun this (or next) weekend.  Here are just a few. Also, don't forget the about the Canalloween events in the Canal district on Saturday.

Three G's
152 Millbury Street, Worcester
Three G's sports bar is having a Halloween Party on October 27th as part of the Canalloween celebration. The T-bone Blues Band will be performing. Come enjoy the pool table, the dart board and, of course, the dance floor, all much improved while in costume I'm sure. Enjoy the wide-ranging selection of domestic and imported beers, mixed drinks, and liquors, and take advantage of various specials.

Perfect Game
64 Water Street, Worcester
The popular Sports bar Perfect Game is having a Halloween Party as part of the Canalloween festivities on October 27th. Regrettably, last year, a planned "Jersey Shore" themed party was disrupted by the blizzard, but this year should more than make up for it. No theme this year necessarily, but there will be a costume contest with Celtics tickets going to the winner. Enjoy the great sports memorabilia on the wall while you're there.

The extravaganza on October 27th will include a costume contest and a chance to win an Ipad 2. The Deadites will headline this sixteenth annual celebration. Other bands will include Teeel, Nytmare and Beaver McD vs. Captain Insidious. Tickets cost $8 in advance, $10 at the door. It all begins at 9 pm.
