GETTING OUT: Best Dancing in Central Mass

There are few things in this world more liberating than letting yourself loose on the dance floor after a long week at work or school. Or, perhaps, nothing more relaxing and romantic than a nice slow dance with your significant other.

No matter which of these options you prefer for your ideal night of dancing, there is surely a venue in Central Mass that fits the bill. Here are just a few you may wish to check out.

The Palladium Nightclub
261 Main Street, Worcester
The Palladium is legendary in Worcester mostly among rock and metal fans for its almost weekly showcase of both local and nationally known legends of hard rock. But the Night Club often gets bumping as well with great DJs filling the upstairs lounge with the hippest remixes. Specifically, this Friday night is the Palladium's Club Night Green and Gold Party starting at 9 pm. The 18 plus event will feature the workings DJ's Oya and Turnament. Tickets are only $10 in advance and $12 on the day.

Destare
320 Main Street, Fitchburg
There will likely be little room on the dance floor on Friday and Saturday nights at this high-class European-inspired martini bar and night club. After 9 pm on Fridays, the DJ begins a marathon of music spanning decades of music history, switching it up each hour, from the classics of the 70s to modern day. On Saturdays, live music energizes the crowds and the packed house can't help but move to the music. Check out the extensive martini menu to discover which beverage will loosen you up best.

Fusion Lounge and Nightclub
109 Water Street, Worcester
If you've never been to Fusion, this weekend will be an ideal time to go. After five years hosting some of the craziest dance parties in Central Mass, they will be shutting their doors, but not after one more big liquidation bash. They will be holding their usual dance parties with DJs this Friday and Saturday accompanied by severely slashed prices on all beer and mixed drinks. One must treat this party as a for celebrating and honoring five great years and not for mourning a loss. Doors open at 10 pm.

Center Bar & Grill
102 Green Street, Worcester
The Center Bar & Grill is having its Friday night dance party this Friday featuring DJ Blackout. DJ Matty J also makes common appearances at one of Worcester's best places to either relax with a beer and good food or have some fun with friends. Also checkout ladies night and trivia night.

The Venue Night Club
336 Main Street, Worcester
The Venue is one of Worcester's more rambunctious and energetic night clubs. Located on Main Street, you will immediately notice the smooth vibes created by the multi-color lights that flow throughout the 10,000 square foot establishment. There is a main stage on the first floor with two wide-open dance floors and a bar. The second floor has additional hang out areas along with the VIP room and bar. DJ's you can commonly expect to be featured here include DJ JB, DJ E Dubble, and DJ Jack Frost. The club is opened 9 pm-2 am Thursday through Saturday.
