slides: GoLocalWorcester’s 10 Coolest People in Worcester Party

Tuesday, August 21, 2012

GoLocalWorcester's pair of articles celebrating the "10 Coolest People in Worcester" was a rousing success, and led to a celebration at Peppercorn's Grille and Tavern on Park Avenue. The party, done in conjunction with Peppercorn's owner, and official Worcester Cool Person, Thomas Oliveri, featured dinner, drinks and an awards ceremony.

GoLocalWorcester Contributor Jennifer Roy wrote both pieces, and was on hand to present awards to Worcester's coolest residents, and offer up some words about what makes someone cool.

"Narrowing Worcester down to just 10 cool people was very difficult," Roy said. "But we tried to pick the 10 individuals that we thought best embodied the spirit of Worcester, and who were working to change the city for the better."

So now, click through our slideshow to see the highlights of GoLocalWorcester's celebration of the 10 Coolest People in Worcester.
