Webster’s Indian Ranch to Hold Annual Summer Concert Series

Monday, March 18, 2013

Scotty McCreery Will be having a concert on August 10 at Indian Ranch

Make sure you head down to Indian Ranch in Webster this summer to witness any one of the several concerts being held as part of the annual Indian Ranch Summer Concert Series.

A series of nationally-known, award-winning popular country music artists have already been scheduled for the summer including The Charlie Daniels Band, Montgomery Gentry, Phil Vassar, Dwight Yoakam and 2011 American Idol winner Scott McCreery. Tickets for all these shows have gone on sale. Announcements for yet more artists are coming soon.

"Indian Ranch has always been known for country music way before it became the pop culture it is today," says Suzette Raun, President of Indian Ranch.

"We have had many national country stars grace our stage such as Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Loretta Lynn, Charlie Daniels, along with today's superstars such as Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, and Blake Shelton. We are always on the lookout to introduce new talent as well as bring back many of your favorites. Charlie Daniels, Phil Vassar and Jo Dee Messina are a few that visit us frequently. We are looking forward for the return of Scotty McCreery this year."

Attendees are welcome to watch and listen from the intimate, cozy 3,000 seat amphitheatre. The small venue allows everyone in the audience a perfect view of the stage, not having to resort to watching on a jumbo-tron. At the same time, people can enjoy the beautiful natural environment that surrounds the area.

"The lake was a popular vacation spot where people came to spend their entire summers and music on the lake was enjoyed by all. We have kept that tradition going and its grown from small stage with tree trunks for benches to a 3,000 seat amphitheater," says Raun.

It isn't just music that makes Indian Ranch special. Many other qualities provide an especially unique and enjoyable concert experience, especially during the summer, explains Raun.

"It has atmosphere that many venues in the area are lacking. Our venue sits on the shores of lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg. Concert goers can arrive early and relax on the beach, take a paddle boat out or go for a swim. There is an area to picnic if you want to bring your own lunch and make a day of it. It's a family venue and a great place to take your kids to their first show. Most of our shows are in the afternoon making it the perfect way to enjoy being outside on a nice summer day."

"The Indian Ranch Summer Concert Series provides a great setting for friends and family to spend a fun summer afternoon barbecuing, swimming, and listening to an amazing concert," adds Talent Buyer Denise Kirk.
Even the world-famous artists, who have played venues large and small all over the country and the world, are impressed by the superior set up of Indian Ranch. The artists, just like the audience, often take advantage of the Ranch's many fun perks.

"Most artists are amazed when they drive into the venue and see the setting looking over the lake. It is a nice break for them to get off their bus and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. It is a family owned business and the staff here makes the artists feel right at home. Often, our artists and band members have enjoyed a boat ride on the lake and even gone for a swim. Some with local ties have had friends and family join them for the day and cookout," says Raun.
