BREAKING: Indie Rockers TV on the Radio Coming to Brown for Spring Weekend

Monday, March 07, 2011

Rumors around the Brown University campus hold that the Brooklyn-based indie rock band TV on the Radio will be coming to Brown for its annual Spring Weekend concerts.

They will presumably be headlining the Friday, April 15 shows, which were led by psychedelic rock band MGMT last year, while rapper P-Diddy headlines on Saturday.

The band’s songs have been featured in numerous media, from video games to movies to television, most notably their hit song “Wolf Like Me” from their 2006 album “Return to Cookie Mountain.” In addition, some may recognize lead singer Tunde Adebimpe from the movie Rachel Getting Married, starring Anne Hathaway, in which he had a supporting role.

The full concert line up should be officially released by the Brown Concert Agency soon.
