LIVE: Drone Classes Now Offered at One Local College

Quinsigamond Community College(QCC) in Worcester is the first community college in Massachusetts to offer a drone certification program

Quinsigamond Community College (QCC) in Worcester is the first community college in Massachusetts to offer a drone certification program.

“Technology innovation continues to change the way we work, live and do business,” says Kathleen Manning, Dean of the Center for Workforce Development and Continuing Education at QCC.

Manning says QCC’s drone certificate program will feature a series of traditional and online courses teaching students about drones, helping them prepare to take and pass the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Drone Pilot Exam. 

Additional classes include aerial photography and learning how to start a drone business.
