Halloween is fun for all ages, but you can never be too careful on this spooky night.
We asked some local moms where they like to take their children to score candy in the Central Massachusetts area.
So enjoy our list of safe, festive neighborhoods and events to bring your little ones to this Halloween.
Just try not to fill up on candy...

Palisades St.
Cait Lubelczyk mom of Olivia (age 3) says: "The neighborhood around Palisades St., has well-decorated houses, and is full of young families and their children - great area for walking around."

Grafton Hill
Local mom Tina Borelli says: “People come to Grafton Hill just to trick-or-treat! They park their cars on side streets and we’ve never had any trouble. Anyone can go to the houses and the children are safe there.”
Grafton Hill is located in between Grafton St. and Hamilton St.

Chester St.
Chester St., was also brought up by our panel of moms. The long back road has plenty of little side streets for all your little ghouls and guys to explore this Halloween.

Hadwen Park
Monica Letourneau of Charlton and mom of twins Jordan and Austin (age 2) says: “This is actually going to be my first year taking the kids. We are going near the Hadwen Park area where my sister lives. It’s very safe and family friendly.”

Boston Ave and Glezen St.
Sherry Lloyd mom of Brady, Travis and Nolan (ages 6 yrs, 4 yrs, 3 mos) says: "Boston Ave and Glezen St, are closed off from main roads, and has lots of houses to visit. Some give out huge candy bars, and I love that it's a stroller-friendly neighborhood."

Auburn Mall, Auburn
On Halloween night from 4-6pm, be sure to stop by Auburn Mall. Stores will be giving out free candy and there will be arts and crafts, special treats, and bouncy house for Kidgits members. It's only $5 to join and you can sign up online or through guest services during the festivities. Trick-or-treating is free to all.

Burncoat St.
Moms also loved Burncoat St. which has festive houses and lots of foot traffic - just watch out for tiny feet!
