Farm adventures!
Take your little one to the Davis Family Farmland and they'll never be bored! On this children's discovery farm, let them run wild in Imagine-Acres, where they can experience all the best parts of farm life. Pet, cuddle, and even feed all their favorite characters from Old MacDonald's farm at the Animal Showcase. Adventure Play & Spray allows childrens to dig for dino bones, build a cabin, ride pedal carts, or play in the water spray grounds. Are the kids hungry after all that playtime? Pirates!
This weekend the original family show "Jenny Versus the Pirates" will open at The Contemporary Theater in Wakefield, RI. Written by Sami Avigdor, the show features music goblins, animals, and of course, pirates! See Jenny go on the adventure of her life–can she and her jackalope friend save the world's last animals from those brutish pirates? Can they foil the Giant and her singing goblin minions? Is their guardian angel enough to save them? Will she ever be able to make a good sandwich? Arts and Crafts!
Part of the Rhody Ramble Open House series, learn how to fold and cut the famous Betsy Ross Star just in time for the 4th of July. Free for young and old, the tutorial will take place in the barn of the Smith Appleby House this Saturday. After you've perfected your paper stars, take a tour the of Smith-Appleby House Museum; $5 for adults, free for children. 1-4pm, 220 Stillwater Rd, Smithfield, RI.

"Giving children's dreams the Wright wings", Top Fun Aviation Toy Museum in Fitchburg, MA is the first and only toy museum in the world completely devoted to aviation. Malik the Magic Guy will perform this Thursday at the Marian J. Mohr Memorial Library in Johnston, RI. Malik Haddadi is an award-winning comedy magician from MA's South Shore.
