Musicians of the Old Post Road Set to Welcome Winter

The performance will include tenor Jonas Budris with the ensemble in its regional premiere of the winter cantata L'Hyver by C.H. Gervais, a French composer whose expressive style encompasses a melding of Italian lyricism and French grace.
The show will take place on Saturday, December 5 at 3 p.m. at Emmanuel Church and Sunday, December 6 at 4 p.m. at First Unitarian Church. General admission tickets are $30, tickets for seniors are $25 and student tickets with ID are $10. When accompanied by an adult, children ages 7-17 are free.
Musicians of the Old Post Road
The Musicians of the Old Post Road are a chamber music ensemble that specializes in period instrument performances of music from the Baroque, Classical, and early Romantic eras. The ensemble is marking their 27th season with a musical exploration of the color "green."
