6th Sense & Beyond, a new psychic and paranormal TV series produced by Omega Productions, went live on Monday, February 25th with its Indiegogo "crowdfunding" platform. Christina Andrianopoulos, local veteran of broadcasting and President of Omega Productions, is co-hosting the new series with award-winning Psychic Medium Katherine Glass.

A weekly series that goes beyond “crossing over” and “Opens the Spiritual World to the World…” of TV and social media, the TV show features guests from the psychic and paranormal world, “On Air” psychic readings, and weekly “Psychic Tips” imparting tips on how to tune into your very own psychic intuition, clear bad energy, or open yourself to what you need to attract. The series will inform the audience about the mystical Psychic and Paranormal World, and each week the hosts will interview specialists on one of the endless categories of the Psychic, Metaphysical, and Paranormal World.

"I have always been fascinated with Psychic and Paranormal phenomenon since I was very young," says Andrianopoulos.

"Being from Greek descent, I can recall my mama having friends over and they would all be analyzing their dreams, or reading the patterns made by the grinds of their Greek demitasse coffee. It fascinated me and I found that as I got older I continued to be attracted to others who were Psychically gifted like Astrologers, mediums, tarot readers, and psychic mediums."

What makes this particular venture unique and innovative is that instead of using traditional funding sources, Andrianopoulos is using “crowdfunding”, a pioneering funding source on the Indiegogo funding platform to raise funds for the first Phase of the TV series launch.

Crowdfunding describes the collective effort of individuals who network and pool their money, usually via the Internet, to support efforts initiated by other people or organizations. It is used in support of a wide variety of activities, including films, books, TV shows, artists, projects, disaster relief, causes, political campaigns, startup company funding, inventions development, and scientific research. It is an alternative to more traditional ways of funding such as finding sponsors, selling advertising and applying for loans.

"I chose to take this more pioneering funding channel for my new TV series based on learning how successful others were funding their ventures this way. It also gives the opportunity for me to reach out to a wider market allowing people to become involved in my project that probably never would have had that chance," says Andrianopoulos,

World renowned Financial Adviser, David Drake, Founder/CEO of LDJ Capital and The Soho Loft, who Andrianopoulos met last summer at one of Drake’s Financial Conferences on Crowdfunding in Manhattan, is consulting Andrianopoulos with the crowdfunding process.

“Producing a Psychic Paranormal TV series is a dream come true," Andrianopoulos says. "With the help of a world renowned financial professional like David Drake with extensive expertise in crowdfunding, and Co Host Katherine Glass, an award winning Psychic Medium, the stars are aligned for 6th Sense & Beyond to raise the capital to be able to premiere.”

Andrianopoulos is in her fifth year producing and hosting City Vibes Metro, a popular weekly lifestyle TV Series on CharterTV3. she also co hosted innovacionTV that showcased the best of the Latin Community and was on air for 3 years. Prior to TV she hosted DiningOut Metro, a radio program that aired for over 4 years, and she was recognized as a pioneer of “foodies” programs. Andrianopoulos also leverages the value of the social media channels posting her TV shows online and attracting a national and international audience. In addition to her broadcasting experience, she operates a Strategic Marketing & Production Firm, The Omega Group, and Omega Productions, which is producing “6th Sense & Beyond.”

She has high hopes for the future of the project.

"In the first phase of production once we raise the needed funds, we will be premiering the show locally and regionally. With the growing success we then will take it to the major networks hoping that we can syndicate it onto the major networks. The 'world' is expensive, and we feel 6th Sense & Beyond will have a wide reach. Additionally, those who help us with the first phase of funding will "ride the wave", so to speak with our expansion plan," she says.

The show's crowdfunding site can be found here.

And her abduction in Liberia will be the PILOT. I can hardly wait.

This proves three things:

1.) Crowdfunding works - even for some of the most ridiculously laughable projects out there.

2.) There is no shortage of hucksters and frauds who are willing to prey upon the stupid. ("Award winning psychic medium"?? What did she win? "Most Convincing Performance by a Con Artist"??)

3.) There is no shortage of people who are too stupid to see when they are being played for fools.

Stephen, do you have any friends?
Your defiantly not goal oriented, maybe you should be awarded the most depressive. Awards are given by committees to people with passion and achievement. Only fools can’t see beyond their nose that crowds grow strong. I would say after what I read you’re the one wearing the dunce cap in the crowd. You would be popular by the look but remain pointless.

Not sure what you're babbling about, but let me break it down into smaller syllables for you. Anyone who believes in psychics is an idiot. Anyone claiming to have psychic abilities is a liar and a con artist. If money is exchanged between the two of them, it makes one of them a thief and the other a mark.

Jack Stevens

Fantastic! I’m glad you have expressed how you really feel. It must be your very own personal highly accurate intuition to be able to judge whether someone is true or not. Congratulations in your first very own psychic ability. I bet you never knew you had it in you!

Alternatively no one ever asked you to believe in anything; you don’t have to see or watch a psychic if you don’t want, in fact from what I understand Christina and Katherine’s new show is completely free to watch! No money exchange.

But that’s not all, it’s about exchanging insightful information to help people make better judgments about what they say or do. That is a recommendation to you, but maybe what you really need a psychiatrist who practices ignorance. Maybe you should call the Worcester telegram and all the rest of the news papers around the world to eliminate daily horoscopes from society. That would be a good start.

By the way, you must have overlooked GoLocal’s example of crowd funding opportunities for ambitious people and new social media to our local area that brings in talent and brings the “W” of our little city to the big world. One thing you did make clear, the psychic world does not revolve around you.
