Hometown host Meredith Vieira looking for RIers

It's Rhode Island's turn to shine. And get RICH.

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire will be in Providence next week on Thursday, October 13, holding auditions.

Do the hometown host good

It's particularly sweet that Millionaire is scouting for talent in Rhode Island. It is, after all, the home state of host Meredith Vieira. Don't let her down!

The details

Auditions will take place at the Rhode Island Convention Center on Thursday, October 13th in Exhibit Hall A. Morning sessions will begin at 7AM, with the last session starting at 10:30 AM. Afternoon audition testing will begin at 4:30pm, with the last session starting at 5:30pm. People will NOT be allowed to audition if they arrive after the last sessions at 10:30am or 5:30pm.

There are no sign-ups for these auditions, and audition space is limited. Admission into the audition session(s) is not guaranteed to everyone who arrives at the audition site.

Step one: fill out the COMPLETED AUDITION APPLICATION (Click here to print the Audition Application).

Bring your completed form with you to the Convention Center.

Plan carefully for parking and give plenty of time to get in line with the timelines, above.

The fine print

To audition you must be at least 18 years old, a legal resident of the fifty (50) U.S. States or District of Columbia, never played in the "hot seat" on either the network or syndicated Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and meet all eligibility requirements.
