Ocean House Gala for Ocean Community YMCA

Monday, June 13, 2011

Here comes a wonderful excuse to get inside one Rhode Island's grandest hotels... and party.

The Ocean House in Watch Hill is hosting a Gala Ball on June 24th to support the Ocean Community YMCA, and revive the grand Victorian traditions that spawned the historic hotel.

With gourmet food at stations throughout the hotel, plus live music, cocktails and dinner, it's going to be a bash worthy of the Watch Hill tradition. There will be dancing to both the Bob Hardwick Sound and the Jose Costa Steel Drum Band.

The Ocean Community YMCA was founded in 1928 and has been active serving Westerly-Pawcatuck families for more than 80 years. With the turn of the new millenium, the Association opened both the Arcadia and Mystic branches.

Tickets $150 per person, will benefit Ocean Community YMCA ($75 tax deductible). Black tie. Of course. For more information or to purchase tickets, email Ebbie Penrose at [email protected] or call 584-7042.
