Sunday night is the 87th Academy Awards and movie buffs and film lovers in Massachusetts will surely be able to make plenty of connections to the Commonwealth.
GoLocal has put together a list of Oscar winning actors, actresses, films and songs that can trace their roots back to Massachusetts.
Massachusetts has been the birthplace and home to several famous actors and actresses and has also been the setting to many Oscar winning films.
Of the 20 listed below, the Bay State has connections to six oscar nominees in 2015.
