Pakachoag Music Schools to Host Concert by Sedgewick Family

Debby Sedgwick, of Worcester, a Pakachoag piano faculty member and her sons Dan and Eric as well as Dan's wife Marji Gere, a violinist will perform songs from Bach, Chopin and Granados. They will also perform songs from Brahms Sonata.

Dan Sedgewick
Dan Sedgewick, a pianist and composer, holds a doctorate in composition from Rice University and an A.B. with concentration in Music from Harvard. His music compositions have been performed by the Apple Hill Chamber Players, the Houston Boychoir and the Eupraxia Arts Collective, among others. Dan currently works as a teaching assistant at Harvard.
Eric Sedgwick
Currently, Eric is a staff coach at the Manhattan School of Music and holds positions with Opera Singers Initiatives, the Art Song Preservation Society of New York, Riverfront Opera and the Stonewall Chorale. He also frequently appears with Broadway Concerts Direct alongside such artists as Marni Nixon, Leona Mitchell and Sarah Rice.

Debby Sedgwick is an active musician, studying piano and playing collaboratively with other musicians.
