Ralph’s Diner in Worcester Named One of Diviest Dive Bars in America

Friday, January 09, 2015

Impulcity.com recently released its '32 Diviest Dive Bars in America.' Coming in at #23 was Worcester's own Ralph's Rock Diner.

The caption read: "The Dude would approve: this place serves up the biggest White Russians you may have ever seen. Ralph's serves the best burgers and chili around, which you can enjoy in the diner car. If you like history with your binge drinking and punk rock, the diner car was built in the 1930s in Worcester's Chadwick Square before being moved to its current site in the '70s. The diner car has since been attached to a warehouse-like space, which was formerly a fire station for the factory it is situated near."

"The concert room upstairs is where the decor really starts to get weird: dinosaurs, palm trees, phone booths, motorcycles hanging from the ceiling. The clientele is delightfully rough around the edges, although friendly enough. Ralph's dedication to the local music scene has remained strong over the years, and you can catch a punk rock or metal show almost any day of the week."

Ralph's is located at 95 Prescott Street, Worcester.
