Worcester DJs, musicians and fans will gather at Jillian’s in Worcester on Wednesday at 7 PM to celebrate and honor Central Massachusetts’ best musicians at Pulse Magazine’s Worcester Music Awards.

Niki Luparelli, a successful and talented musician in her own right, will host this free event. The night will feature live performances by Cara Brindisi, Gov’t Surplus, Hot Letter, Ricky Duran and DudenGuy. There will also be a photo booth and giveaways.

Almost 5,000 music-lovers have cast their votes, and now, Pulse Magazine will award musicians, radio stations and DJs in 27 categories, including The Lifetime Achievement Award, which recognizes special individual who has been a mainstay of the Central Massachusetts music scene.

Here’s your chance to see who’s the best Female Vocalist, Male Vocalist, Hip-Hop Act, Best Rock Act and more while supporting the local music scene.

The Worcester Music Awards are a free, 18-plus event. Doors open at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, at Jillian’s, 315 Grove St., Worcester.
