stART on the Street Set to Return to Union Station This Weekend

The event will take place on Sunday, December 2 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The organization is offering half-priced admission to the Preview in exchange for a donation to Veterans Inc.
“We’re excited to host a donation drive this year. By partnering with Veterans Inc., we’re able to give something back to those who put their ‘all’ on the line for us,” said stART Director Nikki Erskine.
stART at the Station
Attendees will be able to shop from over 130 local artists, crafters, and makers, spread throughout Union Station’s Concourse, Rotunda, and Grand Hall.
The works vary from woodwork, clothing, candles, and glass to jewelry, soaps, photography, and more, including traditional holiday items like cards, ornaments, and stocking stuffers.
Music will also be included in this year’s event.
Acts include multiple award-winning singer/songwriters: both Gracie Day and Albino Mbie will perform, and The Clark Chorale Ensemble will perform acapella in the Lounge and the Rotunda.

The Festival of Lights at La Salette Shrine
By far one of the coolest lighting displays you will see anywhere in New England and maybe even the country.
The festival features 300,000 lights over 10 acres of land.
The Festival of Lights runs from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. every night until January 6.

Riding the Polar Express
No better way to get into the holiday spirit than to hop aboard the Polar Express.

The display runs from November 23 through December 30.
Christmas by Candlelight at Old Sturbridge Village is an evening filled with New England holiday traditions, live musical performances, storytelling, sleigh rides, festive foods, a roaring bonfire, and strolls around the decorated Village Common.
