More than 50 singers, dancers, musicians, and artists perform during the annual Music & Art Weekend at Old Sturbridge Village June 14-15, and dads get free Father’s Day admission on Sunday, June 15.
Father's Day Weekend will be busy at
Old Sturbridge Village. More than 50 singers, dancers, musicians and artists will perform during the museum’s annual Music & Art Weekend on June 14 and 15. On Father's Day, June 15, all dads will get free admission into the museum's grounds.
Throughout the weekend, visitors can learn how to dance 1830's-style and hear early American songs and stories. In addition, museum patrons can learn to play 1830's-style tin whistles, hear the Village’s antique pipe organ, and see rare antique instruments from the museum’s collection, many of which are rarely seen or heard by the public. Not only can visitors play instruments, but they can also watch the The Old Sturbridge Village Singers perform on Saturday, June 14, and the Old Sturbridge Village Dancers perform on Sunday, June 15.
