Saturday, March 07, 2015

The Worcester County St. Patrick's Day Parade begins at Noon on Sunday. The 2.1 mile route on Park Avenue starts at the corner of Mill Street and ends at the intersection of Park Ave and Highland Street.

Edward Madaus was named the St. Patrick's Day Parade Grand Marshall and will be leading a series of bands, floats, dancers and politicians making their way along the parade.

The parade is one of the most popular events in the city and continues to garner a reputation for being one big celebration.

Along the parade route there are several bars and restaurants that are hosting Parade Day celebrations which will include beer gardens, DJs, Live Bands, and plenty of giveaways.

GoLocal Worcester has put together a list of the ten best places to celebrate the St. Patrick's Day parade.
