Tower Hill to Give Veterans, Military Personnel Free Admission on Memorial Day

Wednesday, May 24, 2017

Tower Hill Botanic Garden is allowing veterans and military personnel in for free on Memorial Day with a valid military ID.

Up to five family members will receive 20 percent off their entry fee.

The announcement was made by Tower Hill Botanic Garden CEO Grace Elton on Monday.

“This is our small way of saying thanks to the men and women who have served and are serving our country, as well as their families. It is because of you that we are able to share the joy of public gardens and our own backyard gardens,” said Elton.

Memorial Day Events

Visitors on Memorial Day can enjoy the spring blooms of the gardens, hikes through the surrounding woodlands, the fully accessible Garden Within Reach, views of Mt. Wachusett, art exhibits, the Garden Shop, Twigs Cafe, the Wild Rumpus Stickwork Exhibit by internationally renowned artist Patrick Dougherty, and more.

Post Memorial Day Entry for Veterans

After Memorial Day, military personnel, veterans, and their families will receive a 20 percent discount off admission throughout 2017. Their entry fee will be $12 for adults, $8 for seniors 65 and over, and $4 for youth 6 to 18. Children 5 and under are always free.
