United Way of Central Massachusetts Announces Day of Caring 2014

Wednesday, September 03, 2014

More than 1,200 people wearing LIVE UNITED t-shirts will take the streets of Central Massachusetts on September 10th in order to participate in the United Way’s Day of Caring 2014.

Day of Caring – which has been running for 21 years – engages volunteers from a variety of local sectors in a community-wide event where these volunteers offer their time and labor to benefit local non-profit agencies and the clients they serve.

This event is the largest one-day volunteer drive of its kind in the entire region, where more than 1,200 volunteers help nearly 100 local non-profits. Day of Caring is one of the many ways that United Way of Central Massachusetts connects people to resources to improve the community. For more information about United Way of Central Massachusetts go to http://www.unitedwaycm.org.
