Wool Days at Old Sturbridge Village

The sheep get their yearly shearing during Memorial Day Weekend May 24-May 26 at Old Sturbridge Village. Visitors can watch sheepherding demonstrations with border collies, and OSV's costumed historians will demonstrate the entire wool textile process, from scouring and carding to spinning and knitting. Try carding the wool by hand, and then see how much faster the old-fashioned Village carding mill can get the job done.

Tree Canopy Walkway at the EcoTarium

Imagine being 40 feet high in the trees, harnessed and clipped to a series of swinging bridges spanning 150 feet. What could you see and hear? 64th Annual Charter Communications Summer Family Concert Series

With roots dating to 1947, the Massachusetts Symphony Orchestra for over six and a half decades has presented high-quality symphonic performances for more than two million concert-goers. Take in the 64th annual charter Communications Summer Family concert Series.  Enjoy fireworks with your Tchaikovsky and celebrate Independence Day on Thursday, July 3 at 8 PM in East Park. “Classics to Broadway” will be held on Sunday, July 13 at Institute Park and a Salute to Disney on July 20. Fruitlands Museum Summer Concert Series

Every Thursday, June 21 – July 26, 7PM

102 Prospect Hill Rd, Harvard, MA 01451

Description: Join us at Fruitlands for our 27th season with the Concord Band. Grounds open at 6PM for picnics. Concerts are Thursdays at 7:15pm from June 13 until August 8. The Harvard Lions Club will be selling food and drinks. Bring a blanket or chairs to sit on as the concerts are held outdoors. Handicapped seating is available under the tent on the patio. Your concert admission includes access to all the buildings. $10/car for museum members, $15/car for nonmembers. Dogs welcome. Check the front page of the Fruitlands’ site for cancellations due to weather.
