Waltham Kindergartener Cast in Ragtime The Musical at Hanover Theatre

Waltham kindergartener Jacoby Christian has been cast as Young Coalhouse in the upcoming Worcester engagement of the National Broadway Tour of Ragtime the Musical at The Hanover Theatre. 

Christian will be in the Friday evening performance of the musical on January 29, at 8 p.m. 

How Jacoby Christian Got the Par

Christian got the part after submitting audition materials that were evaluated by Ragtime the Musical's director from Phoenix Entertainment. 

Christian was chosen from a group of kids after best demonstrating the innocent, pure presence that the role requires. 

Ragtime the Musical 

Ragtime the Musical has won Tony Awards for Best Book and Best Musical Score. The play has been nominated 13 times for Tony Awards and is a celebration of life. 

Ragtime the Musical has five performances at The Hanover Theatre, starting Friday, January 29 through Sunday, January 31.
