Need something to do during school vacation week? Come to Broad Meadow Brook where we will explore the sanctuary by foot or even snowshoe if the weather cooperates! Every day will feature a new theme, and this week promises to be filled with new discoveries and new friends as well! Parents will be sent additional information upon registration. Children will need to have a medical form on file, and they will need to bring a snack, lunch and water bottle. If you sign up for all five days you will receive a discount price. For ages 6 to 11. Enjoy February vacation with some outdoor skating! The Worcester Common Oval Ice Rink will be open Monday through Thursday 1-6pm and Friday 1-8pm.
Come see Trax from the Railers every day this week from 1-2 skate the rink. Free admission during Trax Power Hour.
Cost: Admission for public skating is $5 (children 6 and under skate free) and $3 for skate rentals with a $25 refundable deposit per skate rental.

2nd Floor Sculpture Park: Sculpture, Installations & Large Scale 2D, is a first of its kind group show utilizing the entire 2nd floor of the cavernous Sprinkler Factory building, the length of a city block, a true indoor park dedicated to art. The intent of this exhibit is to bring the wonderland of outdoor sculpture gardens and the scope of mural art indoors for the winter. Featuring 50 Worcester area artists, 2nd Floor Sculpture Park provides a unique opportunity for the artist to imagine big and the viewer to become immersed in this all-encompassing environment. Lifting Lives II - A Performance by Kledia Spiro
Bring your protest signs! Lifting Lives is a series of performances structured around lifting the lives of Spiros loaders. The loaders in Olympic Weightlifting are usually two people, one at each end of the barbell, adding weight to the barbell and making sure it’s perfectly calibrated. Spiro will feature three distinctly unique sets of loaders in each of the performances.

A MONTH OF FLOWERS
As New England braces for some of the coldest days of the winter, Tower Hill Botanic Garden will be hosting Winter In Bloom: A Month of Flowers.
Last winter, more visitors than ever discovered there is no better place in February to escape the cold weather and to be inspired than Tower Hill. Throughout the month with activities planned each Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of February there will be expert guest speakers, hands-on workshops, live music, flower shows, displays by leading floral designers, and activities geared to all ages. The rich colors and fragrances offer stimulation for the senses not only for flower lovers, but for all those seeking a break from chilly temperatures and a reminder that springs beauty will return once again.
Plant and flower inspired, kid-friendly activities take center stage during Februarys school vacation week offering an educational and fun day-trip that multiple generations can enjoy together. Daily vacation activities will include story walks, scavenger hunts, crafts, library programs, story time, and more. The week leading up to and following Valentines Day is another popular time to visit, as fresh flowers and the holiday go hand in hand. In addition, Tower Hills towering, lush conservatories filled with subtropical plants will be open for the public to enjoy.

The middle level of the museum has been transformed for this 2,500 square foot exhibit featuring live animals, interactive components, and natural history specimens, to give children and families the opportunity to experiment, engineer, and observe the science that is happening on our streets and in our neighborhoods.
