During this residency at Clark University, Shakespeare & Company presents its 2016 touring production of Macbeth, Shakespeare’s dark and dangerous tale of one man’s desire to gain power at any cost. Six actors from Shakespeare & Company bring the tragedy to life in a Bare Bard-style production that emphasizes language and the relationship between the actors and the audience. $10 for the public Free with College ID.

In celebration of all the artists that contribute their work to the Cirque du Noir auction, this show is to reciprocate their generosity and time and to further expose the artists to the Worcester community. 100% of the proceeds from this show will go directly to the artists. Please join us for an artist reception at The Sprinkler Factory. Wine and hors-d'oeuvres will be served.  In the spirit of Cirque du Noir, feel free to dress in all black attire. We will be joined by Magdalena O'Connor of Boston Body Paint, who will be painting guests at the event. We will be showing a video in the media room by Duncan Arsenault, so be sure to stop in.

The Canal District is pleased to host Worcester's "Carnaval de Canal" Mardi Gras Party - the grandest Mardi Gras Party in Massachusetts, bringing New Orleans fun and entertainment to our fine city. There is sure to be something for everyone! The Canal District offers venues for everyone's tastes! Come on down! The evening will kick off at 6pm and continue throughout the night along Harding, Green, Water, and Millbury Streets until the close of business.The night will be filled with food and drink specials, tastings, unique performers, contests to include a Photo Scavenger Hunt, prizes like a VIP Ski Trip to Burlington, Vermont and local gift certificates, promotional giveaways, and live music in many Canal District establishments and of course Mardi Gras beads & masks.
