The City of Worcester and the Worcester Cultural Coalition hosts its 6th Annual Out to Lunch Summer Concert Series and Farmers' Market. Beginning June 18, 2015 and running through August 20th on the historic Worcester Common, the 10-week concert series brings music, local food and produce and art to the downtown area. Featuring the Adam Ezra Group! Adam Ezra is not just a band; they are a force to be reckoned with musically, personally and socially. Whether as a kitchen hand or carpenter, teacher, athlete, or traveler, Ezra crams it all into the music, always challenging our perspective and often teetering somewhere between the ballsy rocker and sensitive poet. Intermission Act: Imperial Lion Dance. Cost: Free Admission

Bring your bisqueware and spend a Saturday afternoon getting to know our glazes, decorating your ware and planning for the firings of the following day. Ginny Gillen will give you a two hour overview of the Raku glaze pallet and tips on application and decoration. You may continue glazing until the end of Open Studio at 5 PM that Saturday. On firing day you will work as a team to load and fire the Raku kiln two times, with Ginny's expert guidance. All students will help in the firing process and will team-up for each pull from the kiln.

Designed to develop students improvisational skills, the workshop will incorporate arranging and composition techniques; jazz theory through playing and exploring altered harmonies; and references to jazz history and styles. Aimee Baldwin is a self-taught artist from the Bay area who specializes in what she calls "vegan taxidermy", creating botanical sculpture fro crepe paper. Her work was most recently featured in the October 2015 issue of Gardens Illustrated. Her exhibit presents a herbarium of her sculpture, showing a selection of flowers and plants found in the last days of summer during an inspiring visit to Tower Hill Botanic Garden.
