Worcester Art Museum to Host Workshops For Kids During February Break

Wednesday, January 27, 2016

Worcester Art Museum is set to host four days of art workshops during February school vacation week for ages 3 to 17 years old.

February vacation week is from the 16th to the 19th.

What the Week Offers

During the week, students will be able to explore art techniques, develop and grow skills, boost their creative problem-solving know-how, make new friends and engage with WAM's award winning staff of professional artists and educators.

Other offerings include sculpting, digital arts, self-portraiture, photo journaling, color, music  and much more.

Students will bring home anything that they create.

Students can go for the entire day or just pick and choose workshops as they wish.

How to Register

There are three ways to register: online by clicking here, in person at the Front Desk in the Higgins Education Wing Saturday through Thursday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; or by phone, with a credit card handy, at 508-793-4333.

The two-hour sessions, including early-morning and late-afternoon extended hours, are each priced at $20 for members and $25 for nonmembers. Early registration is advised as workshops fill up quickly. Longer, four-and-a-half-hour sessions for teens 14 to 17 are priced at $45 for members and $55 for nonmembers.

Worcester Art Museum
