Have fun with the Sharks before the season begins.

The Worcester Sharks organization has announced the activities surrounding #SharkWeek as the Worcester Sharks prepare for their 8th season of hockey at the renovated DCU Center in Worcester.

#SharkWeek with the Worcester Sharks will begin on Saturday, August 3 and run through Friday, August 9. Each day during the week, Sharks fans will have a chance to win prizes and attend special events.

What's on the Schedule

On Saturday, August 3, the official start to #SharkWeek, the new and improved SharkHead Shootout and FINZ will join TCG Networks at the Boston Cannons game at Harvard Stadium from 2- 4 pm. One lucky fan will win a family four pack of tickets as the Cannons host the Ohio Machine at 4pm.

On Sunday, enter to win four tickets to the Worcester Sharks home opener on October 19th.

Monday, score 20% off at the Sharks Shop at the DCU Center with select items up to 50% off. Score a Gronk Bobble with every purchase over $50. Sales will run Monday through Friday 10 am-5 pm.

Tuesday, join Sharks forward John McCarthy and “Beat the Heat” with a free public skate and youth hockey shoot and skate around at the Buffone Skating Arena at 284 Lake Ave in Worcester from 2:30-4 pm. Bring your skates and helmets to cool off with FINZ at the rink.

On Wednesday, one lucky fan will win a VIP experience at a future Worcester Sharks game. Enjoy a pregame locker room tour and watch warm-ups from the bench with three of your friends.

Thursday, join the Worcester Sharks front office at the Out to Lunch Concert Series at the Worcester Common at noon. Watch out for FINZ – as rumor has it he will be leading a t-shirt toss from the main stage.

And on Friday, August 9, FINZ will cool off and hand out free popsicles at the Regatta Point Beach located on Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester from 11am-12 pm.
